Character Relationships
Aqua. You are the only one who seems to understand half of what Don’s saying when he starts talking science. Please be his nerd buddy.

Aqua
You are pink. You are excitable. You are… not really the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you?

Don, from what little he knows of Lottie, thinks she’s a very nice woman, if a little dim. He’d like to get to know her better, but he suspects that he’ll need to take a breather in between meetings if they ever become close. She’s a very bubbly woman.

Charlotte La Bouff
Why are you so confusing, DL?

Don has no idea what’s going on with him or if he should trust him at all, but seeing as the clone’s never hurt him or his brothers (that he remembers, at least), he wants to trust him. Seeing as he’s a clone of Leonardo and Donny’s hopelessly homesick, he’s inclined to try to make nice and have faith that DL is okay when one gets past the rough edges.

Dark Leonardo
He… has no idea how the hell to respond to Dark Don. On one hand, Dark Donatello obviously does not like him at all and his appearance is a constant reminder of Donatello’s damaged DNA. On the other hand, he’s the only person who can for sure understand Donatello both intellectually and personally and, quite frankly, Donatello feels a little sorry for him. Dark Donatello was created just to kill him, and he probably had never had a real childhood or shown compassion. What kind of existence is that?

Not that he’d ever let Dark Don know that was how he felt.

Dark Donatello
Jasmine was one of the first humans to see him and be completely nonchalant about his appearance. Donatello really does like her, though he doesn’t really know how to conduct himself around her, since his experience with humans is limited.

Princess Jasmine of Agrabah
Leo’s his eldest brother, and he loves him with all his heart. Not that he doesn’t recognize his brother’s flaws-he does-but especially now that he has no one else from the present, he really clings to Leo and his stability.

Their relationship isn’t a particularly affectionate one, but it’s a very loving one with both acting as the other’s rock. Something important, though, is that he doesn’t want to use his brother as a confidant. He’s happy to be used as one, but he’s very private about his own problems, and that does affect how honest he is.

Hamato Leonardo
The first time they met, Meg was asking for advice to cope with loss. Donatello, being a veteran at that, gave her some suggestions on how to do so. He likes her, but he doesn’t know her well beyond the fact that she lost someone recently.

Megara
…Why?

Dark Michelangelo
He loves you, bro, he really does… but you bring up some nasty memories.

And it’s true. Donatello really does love Mike with all his heart; he considers Mike his brother, after all, and Donny’s nothing if not devoted to his brothers. Don blames himself for the death of SAINW Leo and SAINW Raph, though, so Mike’s presence is a constant reminder of his ‘failure’ and the trauma the entire incident caused. He wants to help Mike heal and he wants to make his brother happy somehow, but he’s really at a loss for how to do it. He’ll need to relearn with Mike on how to interact with each other.

Hamato Michelangelo (SAINW)
This woman (creature?) confuses him, but he likes her for her gentle and friendly demeanor. He just wishes that she could speak so he could ask her more conceptual questions without forcing her to try to act things out.

The Spring Sprite
You… really creep him out for some reason. He’s not quite sure why-probably because you seem very friendly in the most fake way.

Ursula
Hello there, Violet. Donatello actually relates to this girl pretty well: they’re both socially awkward with issues about being burdens to their families. Along with that, he thinks she’s actually kind of cute, but he censors that thought from his mind because he can’t imagine it going anywhere.

Or at least that was how he felt until she actually asked him to a dance.
