On Smokin' Aces
I went and saw Smokin' Aces with Abby today. It was an okay movie. I wasn't able to keep up with certain parts, but I think that was because of some fast-talkin'. Other than that, it was pretty cool. Enjoyable characters, some crazy action, and some good humor. Some of the film's highlights were the Tremor brothers, Jack Dupree's crew, everything about Buddy "Aces" Israel and Jeremy Piven's performance as this character, and Carruthers' (Ray Liotta) elevator shootout. The elevator shootout was the shortest, but most intense thing I've seen in a while.
