Characters: Harry Dresden and the crew of the Winding Way
Content: Harry starts his investigation into who planted the bombs on the ship.
Setting: All over the place, starting with the main deck
Time: Soon after the Winding Way takes off
Warnings: Paraniod grumping
Magic is a very touchy thing. The slightest miscalculation could cause serious harm, maybe even death. Harry knew this, but was going to work on the deck anyway. Let his the hyperactive crew-mates try and cause trouble... it was better then working in the bowls of the ship where the energies could cause even MORE damage to the engine. No thanks...
He sighed, setting his supply bag down on a nearby coiled rope and glancing around. He had spent the morning hunting down shards of the bombs, and now was almost set for the real work. He hoped he could use the scrap to test for some kind of magic cloaking, or other tampering. He just couldn't see everyone on the ship missing these things otherwise. He was going to find out who did this, no matter what.
Part of this was due to a hurt ego. HE should of noticed something. He was supposed to be a detective after all... He sighed again, looking very tired and unhappy.
