He had to get away for a minute. Sick of the insides of the humid, fetid ship, Axel had stepped outside, sitting on a rock not terribly far away. After all, he was still needed. There wasn't much to see, so Axel couldn't blame himself for not noticing the figure walking towards the ship sooner, judging it to be a woman from the general shape of the traveler.
"Hey!" He called out, waving an arm. Not sure who this person was, he forced that tingle into his fingertips that could have been the start of a fireball. Just in case.
Mamma looked up at the person who'd called out to her. No one had actively attacked her yet, but they had been in the Badlands for several days now and, as Mamma knew, that could make a person mean.
"Hello dere!" she called out in her friendliest, non-threatening voice. Hopefully they would immediately connect the accent with Jägers. Never knew what reaction you'd get to that realization. "Hyu all look like hyu could use zum help!"
"You're telling me." He replied good-naturedly. "You a tradeswoman?" He got to his feet, cracking his back to ease the tension in his weary bones. "Or are you a local? Seems like a strange place to be by your lonesome."
"Oh yeah? Like what?" A lead-line thin eyebrow quirked at the admission. "Seems like this place isn't a great market for skills..." He looked back to the airship. "On the other hand, here we are."
Mamma Gkika shrugged. "Useful tings. I know a fair bit about field medicine, organizink pipple, heavy liftink. Among odder tings. All of vhich hyu look like hyu could use," Mamma told him. Boy this one was distrustful.
"Of course, di sun iz a liddle hot, so hyu gonna invite me aboard, or send me on my merry vay?" She asked the red-head sweetly.
"Well..." He looked back the ship, smiling a bit at Gkika's forwardness. "It's not my call. You've got to talk to the boss, 'kay?" Turning on his heel, he waved her on and looked over one bony shoulder. "C'mon. I'll take you to meet the Captain."
"Understundable, ov kourse," Mamma grinned at him, making her way up the gangplank, her large bag sitting lightly on her back. Finally she was getting somewhere.
"Vat sort of a person iz you captain?" She asked the young man, surveying the deck. The damage up here seemed not as bad--but a surface that looked fine could mask deeper injuries.

She grinned, showing just a little flash of teeth. "And I'm quite used to being on my own."
