Run Through the Jungle [Open]
Characters: Anyone aboard the 4423
Content: The 4423 doesn't have a bomb search thread. Here's us getting on that, so have at it, folks.
Setting: The 4423.
Time: Once Kambei and his search party gets back on the ship (after the bombs start going off).
Warnings: Nothing.
If it had been hard to get the crew settled down and under control before, it was impossible now. Gorobei had given up on yelling and trying to keep everyone's locations in order. He felt like he had been awake for a week with people constantly screaming in his ears. Once they had landed the ship, he had hoped everything would settle down and he could get some rest. His body felt it important to remind him that he wasn't as young as he used to be, and he strained to stay standing.
He was looking forward to seeing Kambei again so he could catch up with what had happened to his friend out in the Badlands. At least he could relax his defenses a little around Kambei. Even when Gorobei wasn't at his most alert, Kambei always was and there to cover his back.
