"Good morning, Alphonse!" Tohru exclaimed cheerfully as she spotted the armoured figure and set off in his direction.
Uninhibited by her previous worries about the safety of being an Ivonian in Berum - Al's presence dispelled them thoroughly for her, she couldn't imagine anyone wanting to mess with him - her natural cheerfulness was out in force, and she smiled happily as she hurried over to meet him.
"Eh?" she said, a little surprised at his question - did it look like something was wrong?
"Everything's fine!" she said, quickly. "I'm sorry, did I keep you waiting? I had to make sure Dandy was all right before I left."

"Are you alright, Alphonse?" she inquired, looking up at him as she spoke. He'd looked...thoughtful, she supposed, when she'd first spotted him. Did he have something on his mind, or was she just not very good at reading armour body language? "Uh, how are rehearsals going? I'm looking forward to seeing you perform!"

Tohru wasn't tired at all - she'd already got her breath back while they were stood talking, although her cheeks were still a little flushed. Her answer to Alphonse's question was, therefore, an enthusiastic "Yep!"
She made a move to start walking, running through in her head the things she needed to buy - maybe now would be a good time to buy Lunansa gifts, too? - before a thought struck her and she paused, looking back at Al. "Oh, uh, we aren't waiting for anyone else, are we?" While she didn't remember Al mentioning asking anyone else to come, he might have done while she was busy tidying, and she didn't want to rush off and leave someone in the lurch, that would never do!

As if on cue, Giselle popped up -- literally, in a way that made her look a bit like an overgrown pink daisy. She had her shopping basket on one arm, and she beamed at them both in a way that would have given them cavities if they looked directly at her.

"Sorry for taking so long!" she chirped, skipping down the dock to meet them. "Are we all here?"

"Good morning, Miss Giselle!" Tohru managed to match the other girl's smile, the total effect between the two of them probably verging on the maniac, not that Tohru thought of it that way.

"Okay! Let's go!" She set off purposefully, with a confidence that belied the fact that she had absolutely no idea where she was going. She was sure it would work out fine, these things usually did.

Giselle was feeling very good about things in general. Rehearsals were going wonderfully (although she did keep banging her head on Al in that one scene, but she was sure it would be fine); there were birthdays coming up; and Lunasa was just on the horizon. Her smile was especially sunshiney and adorable as she looked at the other two.

"So where are we off to, then?" she asked, following along behind Tohru. "I just need to get a couple of groceries -- that's not very far, I don't think! We could do it on the way back, if you two need to go farther into town?"

"Yeah, pet shop...and I need a few groceries too, I said I'd make pasta salad for Rikku, and we're missing a couple of things...oh, and if we have time, I should get Lunansa presents for people..."

Tohru was pretty much thinking out loud as she walked vaguely in the direction of the town centre. Pretty soon, they'd left the docks and she headed down a street she thought looked like it was going in about the right direction.

"By the way, what do you two want for Lunansa?" she asked, looking around at Al and Giselle. It wasn't like she could get them surprise presents if they were coming shopping with her, so she might as well make sure to get them something she could be sure they'd really like.
