..could you please get me a bucket or fifty? )
Approaching down the hallway carrying the warm mug filled with the honey dashed dark green tea, Kambei knocked against the door with his bare knuckles. "Naoto?" The samurai called out to her, not wanting to barge in if the woman truly valued her privacy. "It's I, Kambei. I have come to to see if you are well." He said rather curtly, wondering if the warrior woman was even wake right now.

...never mind, now was definitely not the time to think of that.
"You may come in, Kambei."
She straightened up as best she could against the wall and brushed her bangs as she rubbed the skin in between her eyes. The headache was only getting worse but to refuse help would be stupid. She understood that much.

"It seems you have seen better days..." Kambei whispered quietly as he came close, inspecting Naoto's condition with an experienced gaze. "A flu, no less. Perhaps the stress of your days catching up with you." He leaned in close as he offered the mug of hot tea toward the ailing woman.
"Perhaps this minor remedy can ease your pain."
Reply
"..perhaps."
She reached out for the warm mug and took a tentative sip before smiling up at him, thankful for the hot drink.
"Ah, I think it will. Thank you, Kambei."

"The tea is an exotic blend of a herb that was once formerly grown on Ivonian soil." Kambei explained before making his way toward the door. "The herb is known to numb the pain when used directly but when brewed as a tea, it soothes rather than numbs." He glanced over at Naoto again.
"Hopefully this shall be of some help."

"It will. Thank you again, Kambei."
In her mind she couldn't help the constant connection she made to the man and Fuyumine, but their differences were clear. Kambei was more open to acts of kindness. She settled herself more comfortably and took a longer drink from the mug, relieved as the ball of pain in her stomach slowly uncoiled.
