Kurumi made a face at the crowds staring at their new arrival. She'd certainly seen people like that. That was why it had taken so long just to ask for help rebuilding their settlement. Either way, it wasn't her problem right now, so she hopped up onto the railings and sat down, looking him over.

"You seem popular."

He'd known she was there, but the Wizard had kept him busy up until then, so when he finally turned back towards her, he jumped slightly. Just because he'd known didn't mean he couldn't forget. Shaking his head to clear it of his surprise, he leaned back up against the rail, a soft smile once more playing along those lips.

"I suppose so, in a lynch mob sorta way." He half turned, offering one hand to the girl who held no fear of him. "I'm Micah. Micah Callahan. I'm the new Quartermaster."

She laughed to herself and shook his hand with a shrug. "People are way too sensitive. They get offended about everything, you know. My name is Mimino Kurumi. If I have to be honest, I just came here a little while ago."

He smirked and brought her hand halfway to his lips before bending and placing a tiny peck onto it. He was ever the gentlemen, after all. Straightening up, he ran that hand through his curly hair, the heat making the curls tight and springy against his head.

"People arent' all that bad. They just don't understand and what they don't understand, they fear. It's to be expected. Human nature and all that. We're all guilty of it."

Kurumi's face lit up like a candle. This was normal for her, as much as she didn't really want to admit it. What with Nuts and maybe Karen and Coco - WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LIKE HER STUPID DIE NOZOMI DIE. And with that little reminder derailing her train of thought, her expression snapped back to normal.

"It's still stupid. They should understand, then." Kurumi quirked an eyebrow. "What are you, anyways?"

(orz sorry I was gone yesterday!)

The expression caught him off gaurd for a moment, and while he didn't withdraw from the girl, he did let his nose flare to see if he could catch anything....off. But just as soon as it began it was gone, and she was smiling at him just like she had merely moments before.

Those leopard eyes blinked, but other then that, he showed no sign. Until, of course, she asked her question. Smirking faintly, he tilted his head to one side, amusment dancing in those eyes.

"Such a personal question to ask so boldly. A lot of people I know would have been offended by that." He leaned forward, that smirk growing wider. "Good thing I'm not them." Leaning back once more, he looked her over once more before simply shrugging. "Human. I am human. I just have a disease, that's all. And don't worry, you can't catch it unless I do something truely drastic. Which I won't, by the way."
