Content: Kiros and Fran discuss a few matters, including what happened at Ffamran's party.

Outside the Victoria II, it sounded like nature was at war with itself.
Inside the ship, though, things were relatively quiet as Fran made her way down to the engine room. She and Kiros really needed to talk.
At first, she was content with just letting it drop. Kiros had been drunk-he probably didn't mean what he said. But when he seemed to get upset at the thought of what he might have said, Fran knew that he actually might have meant it.
It confused the Viera.
Many people had told she was 'attractive' or 'sexy'. That was normal, and it no longer had any meaning for Fran. But Kiros rarely mentioned her looks, but more her spirit, and her kindness to him. Things most people didn't see when it came to Fran.
And he had asked her what sort of man she was interested in. Fran had never thought of it, but gave him a vauge answer anyway. But combined wtih Kiros' words, and her own, the Viera had gotten to thinking-and now it was time to talk.
Kiros wasn't down in the engine room when Fran finally arrived, so she sat down at the workbench to work on the bird he had given her back in Kropmork. She almost had it flying...
