A hundred thousand things to see )
I'm writing to you again today, after... well, you'll know what's happened. Everyone else does.
The world had changed again. She'd started to be afraid of things that shook up the way it was, things other than her grand vision of what she wanted to be. This time, though, she knew what they were seeing was the happy ending they'd been after. Just like she'd said.
I knew it would turn out alright. Didn't you trust me?
The Milky Mirror lay, cleaned and polished, on the dresser. Milk was in her original form, writing away with a pen that was half her own height and occasionally munching on a bar of stolen baking chocolate.
A lot of things have changed over the past three years, but some things stayed the same.
Like now being eighteen years old and still flat.
But overall, I think I'm happier now. What about you? You'd better be happy together, alright? I won't forgive it if you're not! Anyway, I'm sure you're fine. Even when you needed help and wouldn't admit it, you always had people who cared about you.
Milk took a deep breath, looked at the pen, and scribbled the rest of the letter before folding it up and putting it in a matching envelope. She stamped a seal on it and hopped out of her bedroom to run down the halls.
I still don't really know if it was just a coincidence that started all this off, or if somebody somewhere meant to send me into this story, but maybe I should believe the latter. It's more exciting that way.
She stood at the top of the ladder and hesitated.
I miss you. I'll see you again!
For the first time in the three years that she'd held a human form, Milk -- not Mimino Kurumi, not Milky Rose, but a tiny pink rabbit creature -- ran down off of the ship and into a town full of people.

"Rikku..."
She spun around and crossed her tiny arms. "And you people kept telling me not to act like a character in a story ~miru!"
