Toshirou made sure he had a pack of his favorite tea with him before leaving his sleeping quarters. He was glad most of the crew was gone to that ball, it was so quiet without everyone else. He only hoped that Tira was somewhere else, he didn't relish running into her again anytime soon. And after his recent excursion into town, Hitsugaya didn't think it would be wise to leave the ship again without Jushirou's permission. So he was thankful and a little apprehensive about his commander inviting over for tea.
Finding Jushirou's, he knocked a couple times then patiently waited to be let in.
