Well, nothing interesting, anyway.
She placed another sheet of paper on the 'completed' pile with a short huff. If she had known how boring a Records Keeper's job was, she would have chosen something else.

Noticing the one rather bored looking young woman at the desk, she nodded politely. "Am I interrupting?" Frankly, Deanna didn't much care if she was or not, but politeness was ingrained in her -to a certain point, anyway.

But Huang Rong set the pen she was writing with down, "Well? What do you want?"
And please tell me it's more interesting than paperwork. She thought idly.

She entered the room fully, looking about the space while all the time keeping her eyes on the young woman before her. "Deanna Troi," she said by way of introduction. "Quartermaster. I've come to check on your status after the recent outbreak of attacks."

Then again, she had basically grown up around people like that, so she couldn't say she was particularly impressed. Then again, she wasn't on her case immediately for being rude, and that automatically made her less of an annoyance than some of the other people she's met.
"Huang Rong. Records Keeper...obviously."
As for the other thing she mentioned...thankfully, the records room was always locked at night, and as such had escaped being damaged. However, ever since the whole monster attacks had started, the complaints had started pouring in, and had only gotten marginally better since the culprit had been caught.
"We're almost done processing the last of the complaints." She made a face and gestured at the pile of papers beside her.

She glanced at the stack of papers, and came a bit closer, rifling through them but not upsetting their order. "'Missing item', 'broken personal property', ...'desire compensation for injuries'? Oh, this is ridiculous. Do you get these often?"
Her attention was back on Huang. If her expression had a name, it would be called 'You must be joking.'

Never mind that she had posted on the network about similar things herself, but there were two important differences. One: she had lost her shoes while in defense of the ship and not because she was stupid enough to wander out or leave her door unlocked. Two: it was her doing it.
"Only when things go wrong...which happens more often than you'd think." She was starting to suspect that there was a reason for that, but that was for another time.
"It's not like any of it would have happened if they'd just stayed put and out of the way."

She sighed a little. "Most people do not usually think before going off and acting like imbeciles, even when things go wrong." She returned the complaints where she had found them, and regarded Huang, intrigued. "Where do these complaints go once they've been filed?"
She had a feeling she knew. She had a feeling it was probably to her. And the other Quartermasters. Being in charge of supply distribution, it would make sense.
