At the moment, he was patrolling the ship in Beast Mode. There was no reason to use his Robot form to perform that duty.

"What've we got here?" She asked, sounding nearly conversational. "Of all the things I expected to find on a ship... I've gotta hand it to you; you're probably right at the bottom of the list."
The corridor was probably too narrow for her usual method of staff-based combat, but if that thing ran at her, the least she could do would be skewer it.

Still, the velociraptor could not hide his grin as he looked down on the woman. "Though I'd hardly call it a challenge."

"Oh, really?" Fang said, putting one hand on her hip and arching an eyebrow in defiance. "You might wanna quit judging books by their covers, lizard."
Granted, she didn't know that he was a, ah, 'robot in disguise', but in all fairness, she'd been raised in a town where skirmishes happened with monsters of his ilk all the time on the borders. She'd had fun hunting them down to prevent them becoming repeat offenders, too.

Dinobot had been acquainting himself with the Convoy's roster. He did not recognize this woman- so she must be new. Obviously, introductions were needed. "My name is Dinobot, not 'lizard.' I am this ship's Quartermaster. Optimus Prime is far more lenient than I- I do not suffer fools as well as he."

"Is that right?" She asked, tilting her head and stowing her weapon away once again. "The name's Fang, not 'Organic', -- I'm the new Pilot."
The way he spoke seemed, at least to Fang, completely at odds with his beast-like appearance. Still, she wasn't about to go judging things by their appearance, so she didn't say anything to that effect.

Well, it wasn't. Rather than being a stationary piece of metal until fired up it was, well, summonable and spent most of its time as a mechanical dragon. It saved on space at least and, since it was intelligent, it could think even if she was concentrating on something else.
"Bahamut isn't one for crashing into things, so I think that'll save you a bit of effort on the paperwork front."

He simply 'hrmphed.' "Good. See that the technology masters have a look at your plane. They should be aware of its capabilities should it need repair."

They wouldn't understand him, in his curious nearly-organic and definitely mechanical way and, since he self repaired, they wouldn't be any use to him anyway.

"It is required that someone other than yourself be acquainted with your plane. I do not care about any ridiculous ownership issues you might have." The whole idea that Organics 'owned' machines was preposterous to him, anyway, but that was another issue entirely.

She sighed, having hoped to not have to explain this to anybody. It sounded ridiculous and she knew it, but it was the truth.
"He's a mechanical dragon who can transform into a glider, all right?" She nearly sounded impatient, but that wasn't quite it. "I really doubt a mechanic would be much help to him; he tends to handle most of his care himself."

He tried to keep his tone as neutral as possible. "...In that case, perhaps it would be best if I took a look at him personally."

She looked around at the corridor, damn sure that she wouldn't be able to summon him in such an enclosed corridor. She wasn't entirely happy with somebody poking around at her Eidolon, but she could deal with it knowing that Dinobot was a Quartermaster.

"Then, I suggest we go to the hangar deck. It should be relatively empty at this moment."

She knew where it was, but he did seem rather tantalised at the idea of a transforming dragon. Perhaps it was the dinosaur thing, she thought. Dinosaurs, dragons... they're all the same to her.
