"Good job today."

The girl straightened her cravat out and walked in step with her friends, two boys and another girl. They went on, chatting carelessly, until they reached a turn in the hallway. She slowed down and apologized -- she needed to do something, she said, could they meet up again later? A wave, and she turned around, her friends continuing the way they were going.

The girl walked over to a framed collection on the wall of all of a year's graduates -- twelve years ago, according to the inscription. She smiled, and a hand went to the necklace she was hiding under the cravat of her uniform.
