The Ball was fast approaching, but fortunately Winry had found a solution for the dress problem she, and several other members seemed to be having. Her original idea

Naoto hadn't put much thought into attending the ball but she had remembered her brief talk with Kristoph Gavin over the network a while and was admittedly curious on what the man had to tell her. The problem now was her state of dress, or lack therefore of.

It shouldn't be too hard. Naoto was more for comfort than style and a simple yet tasteful outfit shouldn't be difficult to find. Or so she hoped. She never had much experience with fashion and she didn't plan to acquire any soon.

Stepping out of her room she climbed up to the deck in her usual attire and looked about for Winry before spotting her and walking over.

"Ah, Winry. Good morning.

"4423....4423....ah!"

After searching the docks for the pirate ship, Rikku had finally found it. The gangplank was down, so the blonde took that as a sign she could board. Once on deck, it didn't take long to spot Winry and the other girl.

"Winry!" called the blonde, waving.

Winry's eyes lit up upon seeing Naoto and she smiled "Morning, Naoto, you are doing well, I hope?" She was glad that Naoto had decided to accompany her. Winry was beginning to grow a little fond of Naoto. They had shared several conversations, mostly over journals, and she had become rather intrigued by the older woman. Though quiet and reserved, she just seemed to give the air off of someone very genial.

"I hope you don't mind, but I invited my friend who told me about the shop last minute." To make sure they didn't waste time trying to find it, and just so she could hang out with her seeming doppelganger a little more. She thought the two would get along pretty well.

"Her name is--" As if on cue, that was when Rikku made her appearance and Winry turned to smile at the other girl as she approached.

"Hey Rikku!" She was pretty sure she didn't need to tell Naoto this was her.

Okay, quick introductions. "Naoto, this is Rikku. She is part of the Winding Way. Rikku, this is Naoto."

Naoto flashed a tight smile at the mechanic, admittedly a bit pleased to see her again. It hadn't been too long since they last talked but Winry was a kind person and it wasn't difficult to feel less tense around her.

"I'm doing alright, and I don't mind the extra company."

Her head spun immediately to search for the unfamiliar voice on ship at the sound of arrival with her hand raised near her sword case, before she relaxed at the conversation that soon ensued between the two women.

"..ah, hello..Rikku."

She knew of the Winding Way from her own research and she couldn't help but let her gaze linger. The concept of a theatre ship was a curious one and Naoto wondered just what that entailed for her as a member of the crew.
