Being stuck in a room where every single person was taller than her was kind of really annoying. But she had something important and useful to say, so the short girl was determined to be noticed. And if that meant shouting loudly, then so be it. She just hoped she wouldn't have to start waving her hands or jumping up and down though, she did have her pride. So determined was she to share her info that it barely registered her robot captain was now a human. Maybe it would sink in later.
"I already said this over the network on Gintoki's journal, but like, I can track the ship, no matter where it goes. I can even tell you where it is right now, if you want me to."

He looked down at the little redhead pilot next to him, a little surprised by her words. "Yeah? How so?" It wasn't that he doubted - he just wanted to know. That'd sure as hell make all this easier.

"The journals! A lot of people left their journals on the ship, and I can track their signals, so. It's easy!"
...And yes, she was deliberately vague about how exactly she was able to track them. She saw no dire need to reveal the details of one of her special little talents, and definitely not in front of so many people. Generally, the less people knew about you, the harder they found it to hurt you.

"Not... necessarily. Although that helps!"
Because in the end, tracking their signals was just one method. It was the easiest, and the one she generally favored. But she could still... what was the best way to describe it...? Sense their 'presence' on the network.

Well, he wasn't here to pry for anyone's secrets, so long as they could do what they said they could. He shrugged.
"Hey, whatever works, kid. So long as we can find the ship to get it back. Ship and Prime's body."

Of this she was confident.
"I have a plane and I can leave at any time."

"Have you ever flown stealth before?"

...Did she sound like she was big-noting herself? Um. Time to answer Hibari's que- ouch. Nena visibly flinched, unpleasant memories coming to the forefront of her mind. She lowered her head and gave a quiet, reluctant admission.
"...Yeah. I have."

He didn't miss the obvious reaction to Hibari's question, but he kept it to himself. After all, most of the reasons the demi-human mechanic and former paranormal investigator could think of for experience with stealth weren't exactly good ones.

Something she'd learnt and used back then being used for good now? ...Well, it wasn't the first time it had happened.
"Hibari-ni..." Nena raised her head again, trying to meet his eye. "Gintoki-ni said that you'd be coming with me. Are you...?" It was as close to clingy as she got with him. Why she was acting that way she wasn't too sure of, but... She didn't want to be alone once her past started slipping into the present.
It didn't hit her that she'd actually said her honorific for 'big brother' aloud until after it left her mouth, but she was too focused on his answer to do more than blush lightly.

"Someone has to make sure you the job gets done in case you crash and burn."

"...Thank you."
For many things, more than she could say at that moment.

"Lee, if I remember correctly, those gates are dangerous for you to use." muttered Gaara sternly to his friend. "Be careful."
