Oct 06, 2010 18:28

Characters: Sakuraba Neku, Nena Trinity & Sam Linnfer (hushthenoise, pink_is_best & son_of_time)
Content: Three totally different people find themselves bonding over the most unexpected cause.
Setting: Somewhere in lovely Kropmork.
Time: A bit after the Convoy docks.
Warnings: We're talking about an emo boy with amnesia, a girl with many dysfunctional problems and a guy who happens to be goddamned satan. What do you think.

Kropmork. It wasn't exactly the first time that Neku was here, but it had been a while since the last time he was here. Not that the teenage could exactly remember much the last time he was here anyway - it had been back when he was still painfully fresh from the incident that had stripped him of his memories, and everything was still too new and overwhelming for him to take in properly.

Now though, he was more well-adjusted (for a given value of 'adjusted' at least) and things weren't as confusing as they had first been back then. Now that they were on leave and coupled with the fact that Neku had spent the last two weeks or so stuck at the radio ops room, he decided that it was a good time to actually leave that hellhole and take a break on somewhere off the ship that was chalk-full of crazies. Honestly, a part of him very much wanted to leave... but finding a ship to take in a kid like him was hard, and out of all the ships that he had managed to get on this one was the least annoying. He really didn't have too much of a choice when he thought about it.

I'll just keep way from them more and do my own business, the teenager thought with a finality in that mental decision as he stepped out onto the docks, headphones around his neck like usual as Neku glanced around and stuffed his hands into his pockets. Today was a day to get away from the craziness of the ship and have the day to himself and his sanity. Yes, a very good plan for a good day indeed. It was high time that he needed a break like this.
