She was quite contentedly sitting at a table that was, for the moment, empty. Oh, it hadn't been, when she'd arrived, but the former occupants seemed all too eager to depart when she'd asked not-so-nicely. Her feet were up on the table, her saber was at her hip, and a very strong drink was in her hand. Life was good for the moment.

He walked up to a woman sitting alone at a table and asked while presenting the crude, kindergarten quality picture of his brother, "Excuse me, have you seen this person?"
Reply
"Excuse yourself," she grumbled. "Can't a girl just drink in peace?! Geez, my first down time in a while and I get constantly bothered by men sitting in my seat and pretty boys asking me foolish questions!"
Reply
"Um...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you. Only," He soldiered on, believing that an explanation would fix things, "Only, I'm looking for my brother and I was wondering if you've seen him...?" Though his voice became noticeably quieter the longer he spoke.

With a sigh that was far more dramatic than necessary, the ex-pirate glanced at the badly drawn picture. "...Kind of a bad picture to be using if you're trying to find someone, isn't it?"

Ryuuki sat down, though he didn't have anything to drink.
At her question, he looked at the picture then back at her, "But it's the only one I have left..." With an expression not unlike a puppy that had just been reprimanded.
Reply
"What do you wanna drink, kid?"
Reply
He didn't exactly drink much so he paused thoughtfully, before making his decision. "I'll have whatever you're having...?"
Which, if he knew how strong her drink was, he would've known he'd just made a Bad Decision.

For his sake, he'd better hope so. Else this was going to get very fun, very quickly.
Reply
"...maybe."

"Bottoms up, then, sweetheart."

He still picked up his drink though (it was what you did with a drink after all) and drank. Then promptly grimaced when he tasted it, though he did not spit it back out. Not that he wasn't tempted.
"Very strong." He managed weakly.
Reply
Geez, if he honestly expected that Bangladesh DuPree did not drink alcohol that could floor a concrete elephant then he was even more foolish than he looked.
Reply
"I...see."
Still, he had ingested worse things before.
The second mouthful was easier.
"What is this, anyway?"
Reply
She smirked a bit and gulped down another bit of her large tankard. "It's not half bad, really."
