Setting: Some dingy bar in Kropmork.
Time: Night of the announcement of the banquet... and after all the LOL EPIC DRAMAZ.

Hijikata hated what was happening now. Absolutely hated it to the very rotten core as he was hating Kropmork now. First his smaurai drama novel had been stolen by that cook (and he still hadn't gotten a chance to get it back, damnit) and then made to pay fines and... well, the man just was pretty much hating the place and everything else right now.
All in all, as usual really.
What with all that was happening, the boatswain had decided that a goddamned fucking drink was in order after all this. Possibly enough to get himself dead drunk and get a crappy hangover so that he possibly wouldn't have to go to the banquet after all. Well, at least that was one good thing coming off that, the man supposed. So he had left the ship (as secretly and quietly as he could without being noticed, of course) and headed down to one of the more distant and... maybe possibly questionable bars.
Once there, he had settled himself at a corner of the bar, snorted to the bartender for a couple of mugs (quickly served) and without further ado grabbed the first mug and started chugging down the drink. God did he need a drink after all this shit... of course, Hijikata hoped that nobody from the Victoria would notice him, or else he could be in pretty big trouble. The bamquet was tomorrow, after all.
