/LATE. I'm so sorry!!! ><''aliasjacquelineSeptember 13 2010, 21:18:48 UTC
While Havoc was glad for the downtime provided due to the Hanami Festival, too much time spent in the marketplace was not doing him any good. Though he'd joined the fighting contest, he'd lost in the first round had had little else to do in regards to events.
Havoc made his way to the infirmary, mentally kicking himself for his own carelessness; he had been on his way to the shooting range when he'd tripped down the stairs, and somehow landed wrong. It did not feel like he broke any bones, and he had worse injuries, the swelling did not seem to be going down anytime soon, and his right wrist felt like it was in no condition to take any pressure from recoils. Upon his arrival, he knocked with his good hand.
Hojo, busily disinfecting surfaces when Havoc knocked, looked up without any sign of eagerness. Even so, he peeled off his gloves and threw both those and the cloth he'd been using into the bin. He sat himself down in his chair and sighed quietly.
"Yes, come in, come in," he called, sounding as grouchy as ever.
His bedside manner had always left a lot to be desired.
Someone was a ray of sunshine. Havoc blinked at the cranky doctor and did as he was bid. Plopping himself in an unoccupied seat, he pulled up his uniform sleeve that hid the injury from sight before holding out his right hand.
"I landed wrong when I fell down the stairs; I don't think it's broken, but..." He trailed off, chewing on the filter of his cigarette. Hopefully, it would not hinder his piloting and abilities on the shooting range.
Holy--! SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG YING /sobunsoundmindSeptember 29 2010, 22:32:12 UTC
Hojo's bedside manner and, well, general attitude left a lot to be desired, but he wasn't so bad as to be rough with a patient with an injury. He took the hand surprisingly gently as he examined his wrist, pressing lightly on the affected area.
"Well," he said, manipulating it to see how far the movement went, "it isn't broken, but the swelling is rather worse than it should be."
With that, he got up and went to a cold-storage unit, for the appropriate ice-pack. When he returned, he applied it to the wrist.
"This should bring the swelling down," he told him. "Hold it in place while I look at your records."
No problem~<3 >w<.aliasjacquelineSeptember 30 2010, 21:20:02 UTC
Havoc was able bit back a wince when the doctor examined the swelling, though he had to grit his teeth when the ice pack was applied. While he was able to work his way around worst wounds, he usually have adrenaline to dull the pain. Shifting the Ice slightly, Havoc realized he never made the appointment with the doctor to get his papers in handy since he transfered aboard this airship.
"I don't think you'll find my medical records here; though it has been awhile since my transfer, I am unsure if central actually bothered with updating the papers here."

Hojo eyed him and looked through the drawer of files to try and locate his records. As Havoc said, they were conspicuous by their absence.
"Hm... well, you're in no fit state for an examination now, but you must make an appointment sooner rather than later so I can get your medical history on file, however vague it might turn out to be."
The records weren't overly important, but specific things should be logged and listed, so that a doctor has something to work from, should anything bad befall the patient. It was lucky that Havoc didn't appear to have any specific needs and he didn't seem to be a Demihuman, so he was probably low-risk as far as lacking information went.
