Some Things May Go Boom [ Open ]
Characters: Winry and Open to 4423 crew
Content: In regards to her most recent entry; Winry sets up shop to start inventing and is looking for helping hands.
Setting: Deck of the 4423

It had been a while since Winry had set herself to try and invent something. Not since she had made her boots which was about a year ago, a couple months before she had taken up on the 4423. Being on a pirate ship, even more so, being a first mate left little time for personal creativity and even less to actually get down to inventing but over time several ideas had gathered in her mind and bit by bit she'd been able to draw up some blueprints of several small but hopefully useful gadgets.
It was good too. After her talk with Edward and Alphonse...well...she didn't really want to think of that too much, but it had made her all the more determined to prove herself. When it came down to it Winry really wasn't that much of a fighter--neither in body nor spirit, so she really had to rely on her mind to keep herself protected and capable. The more tools she had at her dispense, the better. As much fun as tinkering was, for tinkering's sake, she did have a good reason for this.
When the mechanic had requested help she hadn't expected as many offers as she had, but she'd been quite happy by it all. She knew that Jet, Beat, and Amu had all said they'd like to give a hand so hopefully they would show up at some point; if not she understood how busy they could be. Normally Winry worked in her room, but seeing as how it was always a cluttered mess that would put a pack-rat to shame she had set up on deck so that there would actually be room for people if a lot decided to come in. A couple tables were set up with designs taped on them and some already partially created contraptions and various tools over them.
There were several chairs set up, and Winry was already at work on something waiting.
