Content: Two children find a new friend in each other.

Time: Back when Jennifer and Ryuuki were still children.

Yesterday, his brother had left with their father on business after making Ryuuki promise that he'd stay away from his other siblings. All of them. Even if they ask nicely. Especially if they ask nicely.
So today he had tucked himself in a corner of the gardens, where he knew none of his brothers had been able to find him before.
He spent some time bouncing an old, well-loved ball by himself, making it go "boing" each time it bounced, before just letting it hit the ground and roll away.
It was boring playing by himself.
But he had promised to stay away from his other brothers (not that Ryuuki liked playing with them much).
He wished there was someone he could play with.
