Content: Ruby and Leo hang out on Lunasa. What could go wrong?
Setting: Balisier, starting near the town square.
Time: Backdated to Lunasa; sometime in the evening.
Warnings: There shouldn't be any, really.
Ruby rocked back on her heels, looking up and down the street again.
People were still mulling about, making the best of the day while they still could. Buying late Lunasa gifts, running around town with friends or family... It made Ruby homesick all over again. It also made her wonder again where Hiro was. Was he celebrating Lunasa somewhere with Lucia? Or was he still traveling, all alone on the holidays?
It was a sad thought, and Ruby shook her head to get rid of it. "Hiro brought this on himself," she muttered, crossing her arms. "He's the one who decided to run off after a girl!" Who he spent Lunasa with wasn't her problem. Her problem now was finding Leo.
She already knew she'd recognize the cranky officer, but whether or not he'd be able to pick her out of the crowd was the real question.
