A like-minded Komamura also roamed the empty hallways. The demihuman was not at all satisfied with the the state of things. Following the attacks, the Amestris should have been on high alert. Instead, half of the crew had disembarked for the city, and the bulk of their security were dealing with festival events.
He himself had been part of that group, but today had been scheduled as his "day off." And he chose to spend it here, investigating the ship. It was not entirely a deliberate decision--Komamura could not have relaxed now if he had wanted to.
"Lieutenant Commander," Komamura did not know the man personally, but his perception was that he was quite the busybody. It was no surprise, then, that he came off as a bit anxious.
The day actually had a double significance for the demihuman, being both Lunasa and his birthday. However, he had never been the type to celebrate such things. Hence why he was here, more or less working (informally) on what should have been a holiday.
Looking to the Lieutenant Commander, he said, "Neither do you, it would seem."
"I see. In that case, it would appear that our goals are similar."
From what he knew of Roy, this was hardly surprising. He seemed like the type of man who would be concerned for the present, vulnerable state of the ship.
"I suppose," he answered after a moment. He did not have plans for the day so much as a general intent. But by this evening most of the crew would have returned, meaning his efforts would be unnecessary.

"Major Komamura." Roy blinked at the sight of the demi-human, and approached immediately. "Is something the matter?"
Wasn't it his day-off? (Yes, Roy was one to keep track of pretty much everything.)

"Not at all." he answered.

Roy flashed the other a crooked smile, visibly relaxing.
"It's Lunasa. Don't have any plans?"

Festivals like this rarely ever came around, and something told Roy that the Amestris was going to get busy soon enough.

The Quartermaster stretched, knocked a crick out of his neck.
"Will you be free later this evening?"

It was a gentle invitation, really. No pressure whatsoever.

The alchemist flashed the other another smile before preparing to take his leave.
"I'll get back to my patrol circuit now, I think. Don't work too hard, all right?"
