The festival games had caught Allens eye fairly early. He'd spent most of the day winning prizes and cleverly cheating the cheaters. He carried a small sack of his winnings over his shoulder, with a cheerful grin plastered across his face that belied his competitive nature. He saw the stall where Jennifer stood, and approached it. Ring tossing? Piece of cake. Hmm he could really have gone for some cake at the moment.

"Hmmm..." Jennifer mused, holding yet another set of rings. She knew she was just throwing her money away, but it was so much fun for the children to see an adult trying and failing to do what they were much better at. She did not mind, it was entertaining all around.

She tossed her last ring, and was shocked as it actually went around. The man running the game handed her a stuffed flower, which she looked down and handed to one of the children that had not been able to win anything. Smiling, she glanced at the new comer, nodding before paying for another set of rings. It was just too much fun.

Allen returned the smile as he came to a stop beside her. The woman was dressed like nobilty, but she seemed to be enjoying herself thoroughly with the simple game.

"Mind if I have a go?", he smiled, taking out some money and handing it to the stall owner. Allen was handed three rings, holding them in his left hand, he took carefully aim. He lobbed one missing terribly, causing it to ricochet and hit him in the head. He collapsed in a pile on the floor with a crash.

'Threw with too much force', he thought as his eyes rolled in their sockets, much to the amusement of the children.

Jennifer nodded and stepped back so he could approach the game and take his chances. She watched as the ring ricocheted back towards the young man and hit him, sending him to the ground. She gasped softly, then put a hand to her lips to keep him from seeing her laughter before she leaned over and offered him a hand up.

"Perhaps a little less force next time." Jennifer suggested with a smile, still holding her parasol over her head to keep flowers from falling all over her.

It took a moment for Allen to realise what had happend to him. He blinked up at the woman a few times before he took her hand and got to his feet. His head was still spinning, causing him to stumble a bit.

"Aheh, yes..", he grinned his cheeks burning red as the bruise on his brow.

She steadied him the best she could, not being very big herself, and smiled at him again. "Now I'm sure you can do it. Just toss it a bit easier."

Jennifer encouraged him to try again with a gesture as well, smiling as the children that were still hanging around told him to try again. She checked her bag to make sure Alphonses the gold fish was still doing well before turning her attention back to him.

Allen shook off his groginess and focused on the target again. All the encouragement made him want to try harder. Judging the distance an height of his target, he realised where he'd gone wrong. He swapped the ring to his right hand.

Taking careful aim, he threw the ring with unerring accuracy that belied his earlier failure. The ring struck the target, winning him a large basket of treats. Allen sighed with relief, before grinning. He turned to the kids, handing the basket to them.

"Thank you for all the encouragement.", he smiled.

It pained him to give away all that food, but it still made him happy. Though he still slipped a few goodies into his pockets. Allen turned to Jennifer and gave a gracious bow and thanked her for helping him up.

"Allen Walker", he smiled offering a hand.

"Wonderful! Congratulations!" She said brightly as he managed to get his ring around one of the targets.

Jennifer smiled as he gave the prize away to the children around them, nodding her approval before he bowed and thanked her. She took his hand, slipping her small one into it and shaking it firmly.

"Jennifer Walters. How do you do?" She said, for once not mentioning her title. It seemed out of place to tell people she was an ambassador, and for now, she simply wanted to have fun. She did not want to be "Ambassador"-ed to death.
