Nack was making a note for himself. It was that he was never supposed to log into the network again. Why'd he made that post anyway? If not for that he could've gotten away with claiming to have been somewhere, he was sure.
Not that he'd expected anybody to make anything of it. It was just one assignment, what was the problem? And besides, he'd spent hours--hours--fixing the ship up for it while the rest of the crew had a free ride. Where was the justice there?
He was still mumbling to himself when he got to the office, and scowling when he pushed the door open.
