He knew he shouldn't be hard on himself. He was a civilian, and the Amestris was supposed to be a peaceful, diplomatic ship with the sole purpose of bringing good to Reial and solving conflict. Still, it felt kind of bad when his biggest skill - navigation - would prove to be completely useless.
Lingering around the center of one of the walls, all he could do was wait for a signal that everything was safe again.

The alchemist slipped inside, nodding to the guards before doing a round through the area to talk to people and check how things were. The situation was hardy ideal, and he wasn't about to let morale slip and irritation ruin things.

"For the moment, yes. You are?"

"Sorry, I'm Roxas. Roxas Orior, a navigator."

He turned away momentarily, looking at the crowd.
"Have things been quiet here?"

And he did wonder, actually, how things were going to pan out. The investigation had turned up nothing, but it wasn't like someone like Bradley to just die in a ditch somewhere...
"You're not with the military, are you?"
Reply
"Nope, just a civilian."

How could he not know it? That had been Hughes' ship before.
"You're probably right at home with the entertainers we've got down here. They seem like an interesting bunch."

"The atmosphere is tense in here, isn't it?" came a voice from his left, originating from the tall, dark-haired woman who took up a section of the wall a foot or two away from Roxas. Yuuko crossed her arms and pressed her side into the wall, a little smile on her face.
Her? Making small talk? Nonsense.
The enchantress wasn't as bummed out as the rest of the crew about the sabotage, but it would be a lie if she said she wasn't the slightest bit concerned. If only because she was on that ship.

"Uh, yeah," he replied. Vaguely, Roxas could remember seeing this woman around the ship a couple times, but he never talked to her.
