He was sure his name was Hisagi.... at least he was sure he'd heard people call him that when he'd passed by.

Hisagi relaxed into the stool, intent on taking his time with the drink.

He waited for a moment then grabbed the new bottle of Sake, glancing at Hisagi.
"Hisagi... right? From the Serenity," asked Kanda

"... Yeah."
Assuming he's not from the military-- a quick glance at his clothing verified the fact-- or around his town. The guy did not look older then 20, with delicate-like features, Hisagi was sure he'd remember a guy like that had they crossed paths back then. Which leaves the fact that anyone who knows his name should be from the Serenity, and he did let others know he'd be interested in company drinking, after all. While the guy did not look familiar, he still have yet to meet the whole crew.
"I'm sorry, I don't believe we've met...?"

With the Sky Pig hunt readying itself, as well as the ship, there wasn't much for Shinji, as a radio op, to actually do. Whether or not he'd be of use later didn't matter; he was bored now, and crowds never really appealed to him. There was always a chance of bumping into familiar faces, and it was all a bit claustrophobic. That, and he had zero shopping to do, unless Hiyori, Anthy, or Yoruichi wanted something and dragged him along to carry their bags because they were, well, women ( ... )

Under any other circumstance, he'd probably answer with a generic ... Nah. I'm just that fucking good. Enough people have asked him that question for him to get use to deflecting it. The only reason he was even considering his answer, however, was the sake. While not enough to make him drunk, he was border-lining tipsy from the warmth of the alcoholic beverage he'd consumed, and it had (somewhat) loosened his tongue.
"It's complicated," he decided, bringing a hand the rub at the inked skin. "... and totally uncool, haha" He finished up the dish he held before pouring himself another. It's not like he was going to see this guy again, anyway. Turning to face the stranger completely, he grinned.
"Hurt like a bitch gettin' it, too."

And how wrong Hisagi was about that.
The Vizard's eyes flickered over to the bartender as his drink was pushed toward him, and while he rummaged in his pocket for payment, they fell back on Hisagi. "I know all about complicated," Shinji explained before slapping the coins onto the bartop. "But it don't involve tattooing the number 69 on my face o' all places. Why didn't y'put on, say..."
And here he took a leap, just to confirm his suspicions.
"... your chest or somethin'?"

"... It's on me."
Fighting to keep the smile on his face, (likely it had slipped when he zoned out in his panic), he waved the coins away, breaking his self-imposed rule as he dug in his dwindling sash of money before turning to the stranger again, this time, all playfulness aside, the sake in front of him practically abandoned.
"Who are you, and what do you know about Muguruma-san?" He blurted, manners forgotten for the moment.

He had purchased and crated up a gift for Master Ukitake, and had then gone out to Garrettstown's little airfield to find a small-craft pilot who was headed in the direction of Solare and would deliver the box to the Amestris. The gift was five pounds of Bendito Bennie's Chocolate ("The Best in the Badlands!"), with a note saying, simply, "Enjoy."
Hisoka sipped his soda and glanced around curiously.
{{OOC: This would be quite a few hours after the first of Serenity's crew arrive at the bar.}}

"Yep! Dr. Ryuuken knows his stuff real good!" Hisagi prodded his side, as if to demonstrate, gave up, and took another drink from the cup infront of him.
"Took ya long enough ta join me! What were ya up to?" Spotting the Hisoka's drink, he smirked. "Don't tell me that's jus water?" not that he can tell, anyway; vodka, tequila, light rum, and gin were seen mainly as colorless, afterall.

"Yep!" he agreed, though anywhere with booze is not a bad place in his mind. Hisagi's answer was directed at Kenpachi's first statement, though his fogged brain did not even make the connection that maybe the guy would take it as agreement about the fights. His tongue, at this point, is a little looser, too; it was the main reason he grinned up at the looming man from his spot on the barstool before teasing him with "Not lost this time?"
