It was very fortunate for Estelle that the weather was pleasant that day in Abantaire, where the Serenity was docked. The people seemed so fascinating to her, and she couldn't keep from smiling to herself. Everyone on the mainland just seemed so different than the people she grew to know in castle. It was like a breath of fresh air. Which was part of the reason why she was so willing to leave the ship to browse the town book shops. Though she'd agreed to help Yachiru learn how to read, it would probably be difficult to do so without any books aimed at younger children. She had her own novels and picture books, but they were likely too advanced for a seven-year-old.
Estelle knocked twice on the girl's door, politely taking a step back. In her arms she clutched a paper bag with three books, two to read (and complete with pictures) and one to do exercises in, as well as a set of pens to do said exercises with. Perhaps she was overdoing it, but she loved children, and Yachiru did seem eager to learn.
So was it really too much...?
