He knelt by Nena's side, taking hold of her wrist and feeling her pulse. Irregular. He recognized hypothermia when he saw it. He'd need to get her back to the ship as soon as possible so he could warm her properly. For now, though....he shrugged out of his coat, warm from his body heat, and draped it over Nena. "Hypothermia. Starvation." With surprising gentleness, he picked her up from the ground like she weighed no more than a feather, wrapping the coat around her. He was careful not to jostle her, because if he did, she could easily go into cardiac arrest. Foolish girl.
Treating her for starvation and possibly dehydration would have to wait until they got back to the ship. Once she had some nutrients in her and her body was warm, Justin could talk to her. Getting her psychologically healthy would mean nothing if her body could not support her.
"Take us back," he said to Yami, resolutely giving no sign of how cold he was. "Gently. Her hypothermia is severe, which means her heart will stop if she's moved too roughly." His words were clipped, professional, as was his hold on the young girl.

A soft gasp of protest escaped the pilot when his two passengers popped the cockpit shield and leaped out before he'd even quite come to a stop, but he bit back any comment he'd have made, realizing that time could very well be that urgently short for his crewmate.
He caught himself in mid-shut-down sequence, having gone on a sort of autopilot himself, and instead reversed the sequence once more to keep The Duelist ready for take-off as soon as his passengers were back in the plane. He stood up and leaned over the edge of the cockpit to help support Nena's body as Dr. Ishida got himself and her up into the plane. He nodded at the doctor's comment. "We're too close to the mountains for me to be able to guarantee anything, but I'll do my best." Take-offs were always easier than landings anyway - the gentle glide up off the ground versus the jolt of hitting it no matter how carefully one tries to do so. "I'll slowly raise the cockpit temperature too, once we're airborne. That should help with the hypothermia...?" It made sense to him, anyway.

She wasn't answering. That could be very bad. Justin couldn't help remembering the state Grant had been in after Security had to retrieve him from that desperate escape attempt, and how long it took to get him back. The situations weren't all that similar, but... Stop that. Getting sidetracked by your own worries is not helping.
Searching for something he could actually do, he shrugged off his own jacket and wrapped it around the girl as well. Unlike Dr. Ishida, he started shivering almost immediately, but he'd be fine soon enough now that they were back inside the plane. Settled in his seat and ready for the take-off, he turned to the doctor, putting on his best semblance of calm. "Is there anything I can help with?"

He was aware of how urgent this was, of course, but the man was calm and collected as a sheet of ice. He held Nena cradled on his lap, both warming her with his body heat and holding her as still as possible. There was no more he could do until they reached the ship.

Such sudden warmth after the days of nothing but cold... it was too much. Overhearing that she might have a heart attack at any moment left her too terrified to speak up before, but the heat had become unbearable. Her heart stopping sounded like a painful and scary way to die, but boiling to death was equally as bad. "P-please..." Only slightly louder than a whisper, Nena sounded like she was about to cry. "Stop everything from being so hot. It hurts."

Yami frowned in concern and glanced at Nena, then Dr. Ishida, as he taxied the plane across the flatlands, putting enough distance between them and the foothills (hopefully) to make a smoother take-off. If she was hypothermic, he would have thought she'd welcome the warmth! But then, the body tended to react to various things sometimes in strange or even opposite ways than one might expect.
He hadn't gotten far enough along to start raising the cockpit temperature above what body heat was doing to counteract the COLD that had gotten in when the shield had been open, and he let his hand stray from the steering yoke enough to brush the control for the heater. "Doctor, let me know when - or if - I should start bringing this up."

He couldn't help a worried look at Nena when she spoke, but didn't say anything further, leaving the doctor to deal with the situation. He'd try to calm her down if she got too agitated, but for now - at least she was awake and had some awareness of her surroundings.

And that was all he had to say. The doctor resolutely ignored the slip he had made.

He glanced unobtrusively at the doctor at the slip. He wasn't sure what kind of a slip it was - about to call someone by a wrong name, or by someone else's name entirely, or...what - but really it didn't matter. He nodded, tapping the dial to increase cabin temperature by one notch before returning his attention to the steering yoke and the landscape. Planes weren't meant to be driven for any length of time on the ground - he'd be sure to do a thorough maintenance check of the landing gear and related systems once he had a chance to - but soon enough he'd taxied the plane to what he felt was a great enough distance. He flipped a few more switches, then told his passengers as he started to open the throttle in earnest, "Hang on, guys."
For what he had to work with - the terrain, the mountains, the weather in general - take-off was surprisingly smooth, if not 100% perfect.

And hoping nobody would think to ask how he knew Kurosaki Isshin's journal code. He'd taken a good look around the Silvana's network activity in the few hours waiting for the plane, with particular attention paid to the doctors and other people he might need to talk to. He could get through most encryption, and did so on a regular basis, simply out of a need to know what was happening around him. Justin was a good boy at heart, but his upbringing stressed "useful" while nearly ignoring typical notions of "right and wrong".
The part of him that always analyzed the people around him noted the doctor's slip, recognized its nature and likely cause, and filed all the information in the back of his mind for future reference. It was an ingrained reflex, barely requiring conscious thought. Busy with his journal, the young man gave no sign of having noticed it at all.
Likewise, he barely reacted to the take-off, distracted from his flight anxiety by watching Nena and making sure she was all right.
