Setting: The Badlands, far enough from the Silvana/Farm to avoid trouble
Time: Afternoon

It was good to be out again. Ever since his "spar" with Gin, Shinjiro had been ship-ridden. Part due to his knee, part self-imposed antisocial banishment. The whole thing had been so insane, always peeking at the corners of his mind. 5 more lives on his hands. Sure, they were nasty pieces of work, but it was just more proof that Castor was deadly.
But even so, he just couldn't stay cooped up any longer. Especially with Aki now on the ship, it was just too much. He needed to be active.
Of course, Aki wanted to go too. It was just his luck. The cook grumbled to himself as he walked through the chill, bare, rocky wilderness that was the Badlands, axe on his shoulder. He really wanted to fight something. now. Get all this nervous energy out.
