Communication in the workplace [complete]
Characters: Marluxia and Jenka
Content: Marluxia catches Jenka not doing work. It turns out they agree on how that should be dealt with. XDD
Setting: Jenka's cabin
Time: morning, about a week after the ship battle.
Between blood-loss, concussion, and Dimo's special booze, Jenka spent most of the days after the battle asleep (asleep, unconscious, whatever), and left her cabin as little as possible. The only reason she was there instead of the infirmary was that making her sleep in the same room with people was, from a medical point of view, an extremely bad idea for everyone involved.
She was finally doing better today - she could stand up without feeling woozy, and was testing the limits of that ability by walking back and forth along the empty wall of her cabin.
Busy as she was with basic life functions like food and mobility, it didn't occur to her to check the duty roster (and even if it had, her estimate of the current date was a good couple of days off). Whoever checked the infirmary to see who couldn't work yet didn't find her there, so she'd racked up a few missed watches, not to mention other assorted jobs such as repairing the gaping holes in the ship. Not that she was aware of any of these issues.
