Characters: Harry, anyone on the WW
Content: Harry tries to solve his journal problem
Setting: Deck of the Winding Way
Time: A few days after Harry joins the crew
Warnings: Bob, just... Bob

This was just getting ridiculous.

Harry cursed to himself, making his way to the deck, a large bag in hand. He wasn't too happy, and it showed as he stomped about. This damn journal thing was giving him fits, and he was determined to fix it, once and for all.

He could of just stopped trying to use the damn thing, but too much information was passed around on them for that to be practical. Plus, he simply refused to be bested by a fancy nightlight. No way in hell.

He finally reached the deck, and without bothering to see if anyone was around, he began setting up. First was the journal, set out on the wooden floor, followed by some chalk. Next was the small leather braid he planned on charming. It was a very basic and simple thing, easy to connect to mundane energies.

Last but not least was a skull. A human skull. Harry sat the thing down, glaring at it.

The main reason he was on deck and not in his room was so the magic could defuse into the air, rather than the ship, but THIS was another reason.

Bob had refused to help unless he was allowed out of the room to 'check out the crew'. But Harry sure wasn't going to let him out of the skull, so this was the next best thing.

"Finally! That sack was starting to stink! You really need to air these things out Harry."

Harry ignored the skull, getting to work with the chalk circle and still growling at no-one in particular.
