Content: Hijikata is stuck in bed until his dislocated knee is fixed and his wounds attended to, and the man is hardly pleased about it.
Setting: Infirmary of the Victoria II.
Time: When the ship docks back at Bellcius.

The Victoria II might have managed to get out of their whole predicament safely and back to port, Hijikata himself was in no good shape to be around anytime soon. Stuck in bed with a few gashes and a dislocated knee in the same leg, it was pretty safe to say that the boatswain was not amused at all. Especially later on in the aftermath, what with that brat and the journal and manhandling the kitten and it had taken a good lot of coaxing before Chi could properly calm down from all the trauma - at least she seemed alright now, which was good since Hijikata wouldn't know what to do otherwise.
Regardless, the ship had finally (finally) managed to dock back at Bellcius, the man bloody well hoped that some real doctors would come up and fix up his leg so that he could get back on duty. It had been less than amusing to be stuck in bed and being unable to do anything because of something so damned trivial, and having to wait any much longer was not helping with the samurai's temper in anyway.
