Content: The (rather accidental) meeting of two very very different kids.
Setting: Bellcius
Time: Sixteen Seventeen years ago.
Warnings: Shounen tarding of the idiot kind, kid violence, some swearing, Adachi being an idiot.
It was another bright sunny day in the fine city of Bellcius. Late morning had come already, and so the main roads were not as packed as they would be in the morning rush hour - all that was around now were the jobless or people running around late towards their jobs, as well as the occasional carriage that passed by down the road. Most kids this time would have been starting on school already as well; most kids who happened not to be a certain seven-year-old by the name of Hijikata Toshirou.
Said boy was currently walking down the main street with all the familiarity of a kid Bellcius-born and bred, despite the fact that usually one's parents didn't allow their seven-year-old children to wander around a place as big as Bellcius. Toshirou didn't know just then the fate that would await him in the coming years; back then, he was just a kid with an endless amount of freedom and used it to spend wandering around the city he was living in. All he had to do was to be back for dinner, which was something he could very well do - he was only given money for lunchtime and a few snacks if he so desired.
So it was then when the boy was wandering down by the side of the main road and eating from a pack of chips he had bought earlier, watching with interest at the carriages that passed by him from time to time. With not much to do as always, Toshirou usually just pretty much spent his day roaming around Bellcius and seeing whatever new places he could find - it had already been about a year or so ever since he was suddenly granted this kind of freedom, but Bellcius was a pretty big city for a kid like him. His current plan was to go down to that district he missed the other day once he had finished his chips and spent his time at the main square.
Yep, this was just going to be another day.
