Warnings: Misplacing doors.
He'd complain about the strange activities in and around the ship if it wasn't going so well with his plan in the first place. First was Edgeworth's suspension, and then all of these things that he knew the captain couldn't handle on his own? It was like Lunasa coming early. Now all Itou had to do was make sure that he wasn't caught up in any of this and it would be as easy as watching von Karma suffer from afar.
Itou was an opportunistic man by nature, though, and noted that Vole seemed to have gone through every single room in the ship, including his, the brig and, he hoped, a certain strategist's. So with a fairly pleasant air about him, he made his way to the lower officers' quarters, acting for the most part like he belonged there, and walked over to Arthur's room.
He thought about just barging in but figured that he might as well give Arthur a chance to come out on his own and explain why he had been missing in action for the past couple of weeks. Not that Itou was particularly bothered, but he had pretenses to keep and he honestly had very little patience for sulking. If Arthur had a problem, then Itou was going to wring it out of him or beat it down, whichever brought Arthur back to normal faster. After all, the man was supposed to be his friend in the ship, and it was the least he could do.
"Kirkland, I know you're in there. Won't you come out and talk?"
