Sync wasn't in the mood.
As much as he would've liked to step off the damned ship he knew better than to disobey the Admiral's orders. The man had been smart enough to disregard that obnoxious 'leak' those pirates tried to cast out, which in turn regained a little respect for him. Yet labeling it as a fake was a rather easy task, and it would take quite a while for Sync to put forth his trust on the man as before.
There wasn't much else to do that morning, so the teen benefited himself by taking a small break from his work. Even though he wasn't allowed to step off the ship that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy what scenery he could see from the deck, idly thumbing Rolo's precious trinket that was hidden between his gloved fingertips.
That locket had nearly put him in a world of trouble, yet he couldn't deny that it hadn't been fun. He hadn't bothered to check what was inside yet, not entirely interested in its contents. After all, he doubted the bastard had anyone close enough to place their picture inside.
