Characters: Sebastian Michaelis and Grell Sutcliff
Content: Grell hands off their child kitten to Sebastian for the week at the latter's request.
Setting: Sebastian's room-- or rather, his doorway. Not like he's going to let Grell come any farther in than that.
Time: The night of the qualifier races.
Warnings: Romeo and Juliet shennanigans.
He'd left the door open as he said he would, but it was closed regardless-- a small but necessary barrier against curious eyes. The reports he was working on needed to be sent to the Young Master soon, and the door was the only thing that prevented the revelers around the ship from coming in and asking him to cook, or to join him.
He'd been surprised at the latter. An invitation to join in a party was not something a butler was not used to-- indeed, it was something that was looked down upon in some instances-- but here, he was much less butler and much more friend than he had ever been back in Bellcius. It never failed to shock him, really.
He would actually have no qualms with going to join the festivities on any other occasion. But the reports bore more importance right now, and the Young Master being the considerate master he was, had given him a very large stack to finish before the hour was up.
Sebastian would finish it all long before then, of course, so he could spare a bit of time to receive Lucia. And deal with Grell, as well.
