Belarus academy. The finest academy to have ever been built in the history of Ivona and to this day stands as the one sure-fire way to get into the ranks of the military. It had always been one of his goals to step into this place ever since he was young, in order to study and go through what they threw at him so that he could graduate from here top of the class and prove to everyone that he was more than just 'another one of those Gavins'. He may be a Gavin, but he was so much more than that-Kristoph just knew that he was destined for something much greater than just this. Something that would make people see him as Kristoph Gavin, and not 'a Gavin'.
He wasn't exactly the youngest student to be inducted in (though he could have if he ever had the means to when he was younger) but now that he was of age, his first decision was to of course enrol here in order to pursue his ambition of joining the military. He would join it and from there earn the best name for himself - and then finally he would be recognized. He would be seen as somebody rather than a nobody. That was his biggest dream-to have people recgonize him for who he was.
-though, it was clear that that was hardly going to be easy, judging from the expressions that the rest of the class seemed to be giving him. They would know him by his family name of course; the Gavins were after all quite infamous due to their now twisted history as well as their reputation amongst the higher nobles and the aristocrats. It was a common fact that most military people usually belonged in that circle of nobility-it was uncommon for the common folk to be here, though there were a notable enough number of cases.
Regardless, he could care less what the rest thought about him anyway-he was here for the sake of accomplishing his goal, and nothing would get in his way. if he were to stumble now due to something as meagre as this then he'd never get anywhere at all. The sixteen-year-old blond only remained as impassive as ever despite the looks that were surrounding him still, making an unamused sound from the back of his throat and settled down properly in his seat. That done, he took out his textbook and started to look through it even though he pretty much understood the whole content already.
Really-this was what he was going to be taught? How so very juvenile.
