Once a year, we throw a party here in town [Open]
Characters: Jean, Hughes, Zeetha... open to everyone for mingling, especially new members of the Winding Way crew
Content: It's a nighttime bonfire party! Come for the grilled food and dancing, stay for the people and the toasted marshmallows~
Setting: In a clear area in the makeshift racing town
Time: From sunset onwards
Warnings: There is a big, open flame. If you let your character get too close to it and they catch on fire, it's your own fault.
"All right, that should do it!"
A match was struck, and brought to the dry tinder. The flame spread through this quickly, catching to the kindling. With this fuel, it continued to grow, until it was large enough to slwoly burn the large pieces of timber which had been stacked for a large bonfire. Soon, a beautiful flame was burning in the middle of the town. The dry summer wind fanned the flames gently, carrying little sparks high into the evening sky.
Jean stood before it for a moment, smiling in admiration of her own work, and allowing herself to bask in its radiance and warmth. She couldn't help but love the open flames, finding herself drawn to them in the same way as a moth. Already she was itching to start dancing close to it, close enough that her fans could flutter through the flames like the wind itself.
But that would have to wait. People still needed to show up, settle down, and have something to eat. So, she turned away from the flames, walking back towards the others.
"So, Hughes, how's the food coming?"
