Setting: The common hangar and practice grounds of the racing venue

Now that the races were even closer than they were before, there was a general air of excitement and energy all over the place, most especially in the common hangar and practice grounds.
Suffice to say, Kara was no exception. The blond pilot was cranking up yet another bolt at the side of her plane at that moment, occasionally stopping to take a swig from her canister or look off to what everyone else was doing.
All of these guys may have been competition, but she felt right at home nonetheless, being surrounded by fellow fliers.
