When Hughes came by, Maya was sitting in a chair and attempting to write a letter home. However, she was encountering some difficulty. She wasn't sure what to write. How could she describe all the exciting things she was seeing and experiencing on her trip? And she'd even found Phoenix Wright! But Aunt Morgan hadn't really approved of her trip...

She sighed, then set her pen down, leaning back to look at her letter when a knock came on the door and a pleasant voice filtered through. She hopped down from the chair and answered it with a bright smile. "Hi!"

"Hello!" Hughes grinned widely down at her. She had seemed like such a cheerful person over the network that Hughes knew they'd get along swimmingly.

"I was just about how you were settling down in the ship, Miss Fey! Have you had no trouble so far? I know I asked over the network, but I wanted to make sure with my own eyes."

"I'm doing just fine," she said, then stepped aside. "Would you like to come in?" she offered politely. "You're welcome to have a seat." She was having a great time on the ship so far. She felt like everyone - Hughes included! - was just as nice as could be. At least, everyone she'd talked to.

Hughes gave her a hundred-watt smile and nodded, ducking inside and taking the seat farthest from the bed. One had to remain proper in a lady's room, after all! "If you don't mind, then. Have you had dinner? Dessert? I'm glad you like the ship so far. Admittedly, it's not the most conventional ships, but if you're looking for adventure, there's nothing better!"
