Well. Not often.
Sebastian arched an eyebrow when Mion took Abe into her grasp swiftly and suddenly, the corner of his lips twitching in amusement as he caught the pilot's disgruntled look. She was quite the lethal young lady, though she didn't look it. He would have to be more delicate with her in order to free the two boys-- he couldn't very well bruise her pretty skin with a blow to the neck, now could he? The butler could feel the weight of the case of syringes in his coat pocket, its form pressing against his hand as he slid into his familiar bow.
Her speed was no match for his. He would be able to give her the antidote before she even realized it. But he had to coax her into stepping closer. She was too wary of him at the moment, and would probably keep a good distance between them. And what was any better way to provoke her to attack him than to question her loyalty to the one she obviously worshiped? Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, after all.
"Ms. Mion, I have never known you to question the Captain when he requests something of his crew members." His lips curled up in the slightest sneer. "Are you turning your back on him?"

She didn't spot any blood on him, but who said that he had to slice through Yuri with a knife? He could have a number of things hidden on him - or he could've even changed his clothes. However, that didn't matter. Even being lured out onto the deck didn't matter. All she needed to figure out was whether or not he had hurt Yuri - or bore the intentions to do so.
"What? Can't ask a simple question?" she remarked, almost scornfully, before she assumed a flippantly cheerful smile, accompanied by another giggle. "Don't you worry, don't you worry, don't. You. Worry, Sebastian! I'll be heading to the decks in a minute." Noting the way Near insisted upon clinging to the sleeve, and then Abe's expression, she let her mind process her next course of action as she continued speaking. "But tell me something first...when you went to see the Captain, did he tell you what he wants us to do once we're on the decks?" She presented this question in a surprisingly calm voice, without even a hint of amusement. In any other situation that didn't involving her hands still pulling a shirt around Abe's neck, one could've mistaken Shion to have been her regular self again.
Yet, as she had made this inquiry, she inched the slightest bit closer to Near, subtly trying to shift him closer to Abe's legs. At the same time, she let her left hand hold both ends of the shirt she had wrapped around the boy's neck, allowing her right to have a firmer grip on her taser.

He could not predict what Mion would do after this. Predicting moves in a game or an investigation was one thing, but when it came to a very real and physical situation, Near would have cursed his helplessness had he been just a little less controlled of his emotions. Looking around, saw that Mion's legs were left unguarded and he was lying slumped right next to them. If he tried to trip Mion, there was no telling what would happen to the teen she held captive at this point in time, considering she held him by the neck. Perhaps, a more diplomatic course of action was needed.
"Mion, I am certain that the captain only means the best for us," Near said, his voice muffled by his hand that was not gripping onto the sleeve like his life depended on it.

The banter between Sonozaki and Sebastian was starting to freak him out a little. It didn't help that Near was down on the ground and Sonozaki pushing him slowly to him. The pilot obviously did not want to step on his new found friend, though...
Kick her! he wanted to say, but of course couldn't. He eyed Near encouragingly. Abe could take a fall with her weight on him. And if he was aware of the plan, it wouldn't shock him anymore. That taser would be far worse, at any rate.... Anything to give Sebastian an opening!

But he was sure she could take it. Maybe.
The butler started advancing towards Mion. Abe and Near, as far as he could see, were still fine-- while she had Abe in a neck hold, she still did not look like she had any intention of hurting him. Yet. All Sebastian needed was a moment's worth of distraction.
And Near seemed to have the perfect opportunity to provide it.
He glanced over both boys, shifting his expression to look concerned, but when his gaze landed on the snow-haired boy on the ground, Sebastian arched his eyebrows before turning back to Mion. Near was an intelligent boy-- hopefully that would be enough of a prompt for him to do what Sebastian wanted.
"He wants to announce the possibility of new officers being appointed. You know how First Mate Jabu has been...lax in his duties..." Which was not true in the least; Sebastian had a feeling the first mate was one of the few that the Captain trusted immensely. He bowed again to her, hand over his chest. Half a second would have the case of syringes open, the other half would have the syringe in his hand. Another second to step forward, then two to administer it to her. Four seconds was all he needed.
Now all that was left was to wait to see if Near could come through his sake and Abe's.

In all honesty, she was tired of playing these games. Tired of masking her rising fears with smiles and giggles. She simply wanted to end the charade and finish removing the obstacles obstructing Yuri's safety. Yet, even if she couldn't entirely drop her playfulness, it was time to start being the slightest bit more serious.
"I see." This was stated curtly, a colder expression beginning to form upon her face, evidenced through the hardening of her eyes and the tight line of her lips. Whether it was in response to Near's or Sebastian's words, or even both, it wasn't clear, but she could care less.
Abruptly releasing the ends of Near's shirt, Shion used the same hand to seize the one serving as Abe's mask. Digging her nails into the fabric, she bent slightly from the waist, jerking both the boy and the shirt downwards, until the cloth could touch the side of Near's face. As quick as the flicker of firelight, she brought her taser hovering only a centimeter away from the strip of cloth framing Abe's neck. Electricity crackled from the end of her weapon, a clear sign on what would happen if anyone shifted her position. Her fingers only needed a single push, and not only would Abe be eletrocuted, but Near as well. It was most fortunate that Abe had drenched his mask, as water conducted electricity quite well, she found.
"Can you tell me something, Sebastian?" she inquired, her voice gaining a saccharine touch, as the slightest hint of a smile began to spread across her lips. "When you went to see the Captain...was he injured? Harmed in any way?" Her head tilted back by a fraction, a gentle movement in stark contrast to the tight grip she held on the taser and the wet cloth.

If he were to act, he had to act now. A small part of his mind grumbled at the how absurd the situation was, but when one was already in danger, Near supposed he would have to improvise. Glancing upwards at Abe, Near made a small movement with his head, before he used his whole body to slam into both of Mion's legs, hoping that Abe would have somewhat better reflexes to avoid the taser.

When Near moved, Abe had no choice but to move with Near even if he didn't exactly know what was going to happen. With a loud grunt, he threw himself to the side and away from Sonozaki, although he didn't really managed to go very far. Just enough to keep his head away from her reach.

"The Captain was fine when I saw him, of course," he answered her. "He is one of the few whose senses have not completely lost in this crisis."
The response he gave her was just the delay the three of them needed for everything else to fall into place. It only took several seconds for him to have the syringe out and ready by the time Abe had jerked his away from her, and with two forward steps, Sebastian had Mion's arm in his grip. "My apologies, Ms. Mion," he said smoothly, before pricking her skin with the needle and pushing the syringe's contents into her system. He continued to hold onto her, waiting for her to collapse or stand on her own.
"That was a rather close call," he remarked. "For you two, at least. My further apologies for not being able to subdue Ms. Mion earlier."

Involuntarily letting out a surprised sound, she would've lashed out in an attempt to stop the person causing the pain, but it was then weakness broiled through her limbs. Feeling her breath starting to grow shallow, she swallowed, as her eyes briefly shut tight. Her heart thrummed more perceptibly against her chest, each erratic pulse almost painful as blood ferociously surged through her arteries and veins.
"Yuri..." His name escaped her mouth as a feverish whisper, her dilated eyes slowly reopening as they swept past the three in the hallway. "He is...alright? He is...?"
Her vision felt the slightest bit blurry, with the entire corridor seeming to tilt from side-to-side. Her head ached as she struggled to concentrate, trying to sift through her scrambled thoughts. The panic that once lined them had dissolved, leaving behind only a disorganized jumble that needed only a few seconds more for her to arrange. Exhaling softly, she mustered the strength to straighten and stand correctly, even if her shoulders still slumped weakly. A hand came to cradle the side of her head, as if hoping it would ease the faint vertigo.

"Apology accepted, Mr Michaelis, though I do believe that my hesitation was a cause for this as well," Near answered shortly, unsure if he should help Mion who seemed rather faint after being administered the medicine. He would never admit it, but he was afraid. Terrified, probably, of how close he had been to being seriously injure, though no one could tell anything judging by the blank expression he wore on his face.

He was never doing that again.
Breathing shallowly, he quickly scooted away from Shion and that blasted taser, sitting against the wall to recover his wit. His ankle stung. "Is she all right?" he asked gruffly, voice a little hoarse.

Turning to Near, he gave him his pleasant smile. "It is human nature to hesitate in events such as these. You are not to blame."
Walking several steps away, he picked up the taser and turned it off, setting the weapon into his coat pocket. "Perhaps it is better that I keep this for now, in case Ms. Mion has a relapse. I would suggest to all three of you that you head immediately to the infirmary to be checked over by Ms. Uni. If you will excuse me." The butler strode the rest of the way down the hallway before disappearing around the corner, his footsteps fading away.
