I could swear there is someone, somewhere, watching me )
Uni placed the syringes she had filled into a case, snapped it shut, and offered it to Sebastian.
"The speed at which the antidote works is dependent on how much of it is injected," she said. "Each syringe contains a full dose sufficient for a normal-sized adult male. Incomplete doses will alleviate the symptoms but may not cancel them completely." A thoughtful pause. "There may be side effects, but at the moment one cannot be sure of exactly what they are, other than the fact that they will most likely be preferable to continuing to suffer the effects of the gas. There... might be some pain."
Not an outright lie, but not the whole truth either. She had a vague idea of what the side effect might be, but it was irrelevant at the moment. The whole... statement was probably the longest thing she had uttered ever since the fear gas had been taken on as cargo, and Uni winced internally at how stilted her speech had become. Still, it was more important to make sure that he had all the information he needed than to wrap oneself in the courtesy and traditions of one's upbringing.

They would see if it would serve its purpose today.
"Understood." He tucked the case into his coat pocket, dipping his head in understanding. "In your mention of incomplete doses, has the Captain given leave to implement them? I cannot say how many have been affected, and to what degree. It would be inconvenient to need to return here to restock when I can carefully ration the antidote as I see fit."

"Give them whatever will stop them from tearing this place apart." Yuri said to Sebastian, "If you can manage to incapacitate anyone, that'll probably be just as good."

Uni paused in between filling more syringes -- this time with sedatives and anesthetics -- to incline her head slightly in Yuri's direction, but nothing more. The less said the better; less potential for confusion that way. The captain was a confusing man.
"Yes, captain." She lowered her gaze briefly, then turned to Sebastian. Asking him not to harm them would be useless; she knew he would do whatever he could to minimize the damage, but it would be unfair to expect a complete lack of injuries. Instead all she said was, "I will be ready to treat any injured when you return."
When. She hadn't wanted to leave. But she did glance at the air vents and think: it could reach us, too.

Namely the First Mate Jabu and Ms. Erza.
Sebastian bowed lightly to Yuri at the answer. "Understood." He was sure he could manage to incapacitate each infected person he encountered, but there would no doubt be some that would need the antidote more than the others. He would just have to see when he went out to seek them. Uni's gaze attracted his attention, and he glanced to her, a wry smile on his lips.
"With luck I will return soon then." With another bow to the both of the them, he turned and sprinted out of the door, the sound of his shoes clacking on the ground fading to silence.

With that, he turned and hurried back out the door and down the corridor, axe already unsheathed.
[ooc: aaaand heading up to the 'let's beat the shit out of Jabu' thread. :D]

Silence, again, and waiting. It was enough to drive one to distraction. But that was all right; she was used to waiting.
Uni pushed open the windows and sank down into a chair beside one of her patients' beds. Dark hair fell over a brow like snow as she buried her face in her hands and tried to think.
Now, now, Uni-chan, he would have said, perhaps, had he been here. No need to fret over such a trivial thing. She wouldn't, but sometimes it was so tiring.
A little more. She inhaled, stood, began readying other things: sedatives and tranquilizers, anesthetics, more of the antidote. Just a little more.
