[OPEN] Why do human beings keep repeating their sins?
Characters: Kristoph Gavin [thedevilsmile] & OPEN to all on the Victoria II.
Content: Still stuck in bed, Kristoph tries to pass time by doing... his scheming stuff. Unfortunately this afternoon will prove to be a busy one.
Setting: Medical Ward / Infirmary, the Victoria II.
Time: Early afternoon and beyooond~
Warnings: The usual MGB alert - plotting, scheming, passive-aggressiveness and all that whatnot.
It was easy enough to say that this whole incident had no sat well with Kristoph's nerves. At all. Not only had he been humiliated so badly in ways that he had never thought possible, now he was confined to this infernal place and unable to get out for a good deal longer - the combined assault of both Soubi and Jade on him while he was berserked had done quite a good deal of damage to him after all.
Magic. How he loathed it so.
It disgusted him to no end, magic. How utterly imperfect it was. So much that he had refused any sort of magical aid in his treatment and recuperation despite the fact that he could get better faster and quicker with it. He wasn't so low as to depend on something as utterly filthy as magic. No, he wouldn't. He would prove to everyone that he was superior just by his own ability and willpower, not something that was so... unnatural.
Hence he was presently in bed (as always), the journal in his lap as he browsed though the network, taking in some amusement at the various things that were happening around. Really, people could be so amusing at times... and so gullible, it was almost laughable. Of course, he wasn't like them at all - of course he wasn't. He was going to prove himself better than them like he always did and get his just rewards when the time came - and he would wait for it. He would always wait for it. For as long as he needed.
His time would come. One day.
