Orihime knew she was supposed to go stock up on food, and she had been hurrying, but she found someone's lost sock on the deck and had to return it. Then she noticed a seagull that looked rather hungry, so she fetched it a cracker so that it's stomach wouldn't get too rumbly. But the cracker didn't seem to be enough so she gave him some raisins, too.

Finally she made it off the ship, towards where Sync was standing, looking a bit grumpy. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting!" she exclaimed, tucking the list into her pocket for safekeeping. "A couple things came up and, well, I, er, Mr. Seagull..." Orihime didn't really know him too well, and felt a bit awkward. "This is the first time I've been to Athens! It looks beautiful!"

Of course, he'd seen the girl scurry about the ship several times before so it wasn't too hard to spot her when she wandered off the ship towards him.

"It's about time." Sync scoffed out, letting his arms fall to his sides while he moved out to meet her. Unfortunately, it was only then that he became painfully aware of the fact that he'd never actually been this close to the teenager until now. And as such his actions were completely normal for a boy who was more accustomed to being in close quarters with beefy, sweaty men. Sync's step faltered somewhat, feeling his eyes waver downwards for a split second before they snapped back up to meet her face.

In an attempt to force his attention elsewhere, Sync stole a glance at the city before them, a frown quickly replacing the slight flush that had previously dawned his cheeks.

"Yeah, I guess. The drunks don't make it too appealing though." He responded with a snort, already making his way onto the streets.

"I'm sorry!!" she said quickly, mentally kicking herself for being distracted. "I really meant to be on time, you see, but Mr. Seagull was..." Orihime trailed off, seeing that for a second he didn't look too angry anymore.

For some reason, boys always seemed to do that. Well, some girls too, but it was mostly boys. Maybe it was some sort of custom that she didn't know about...? She made a mental note to ask someone about that.

Quickly she hurried to catch up to him, not wanting to bother him anymore. "Really? Someone mentioned that everyone is really friendly here; they're usually always holding hands!" she said with a smile. "It seems like the perfect place to be docked at for the holiday." Orihime was attempting to make better conversation.

If Sync had any clue as to what Orihime was thinking he would've blatantly slapped his palm against his forehead in aggravation. But maybe lady luck appealed to him in that sense, so Sync was spared the humility as he continued onward as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

But the truth was far from it. During his travels the teenager had visited Athens quite a few times, but that wasn't an excuse to make it seem any less bizarre then it had been when he first stepped foot on it. The only thing that could possibly be worse than a bunch of gay guys it was a bunch of drunk, gay guys.

"This really is your first time here, isn't it?" Sync spoke in a way that was anything but complimentary. He stole a glance at her from over his shoulder, making sure not to bump into anything as he did so.

"I suggest you don't get too friendly with any of the girls. If you know what's good for you anyway."
