BUT WHY IS THE RHUM GONE?! )
God was going to be there, too, probably, since She was a pilot. She'd met an admiral or two in the navy, and the prime minister at academy graduation, and she didn't know what to think of Chiyo's father as, but she couldn't say she knew God. It'd be a good idea to help Her out on earth. Being a pirate and all, you never knew when you were gonna die, and even cleaning up the hangar for Her might get her somewhere nice in Heaven.
She didn't sense any sort of divine presence when she finally made it up to the hangar. Not a glowing cloud or a burning bush or anything at all.
Maybe She was in some kind of human disguise because people couldn't handle it. But how to find out? Just walk up to everyone she didn't know and ask?
No, then she'd be getting in the way. Osaka was just going to have to take the ruder solution, much as she didn't want to.
"Your Almightiness! I'm here to help out if you need me!" The summons rang off the walls. There was no way She couldn't hear that.

"Er?"
'Your Almightiness'...? That DID have a nice ring to it, didn't it?

"I-I just came by to help clean up. I figured you'd be in charge here, since you outrank any of us." She started looking more closely at God's plane. The only parts she knew much about were the guns, but it was worth seeing what kind of plane a deity'd have.

...Oh.
"Thanks." Kara grinned as she took the rag and rubbed the dirt off. She stood up in the next moment, patting the girl on the head with her one clean hand.
"You're a good disciple."
Did she SERIOUSLY believe in the whole god thing though? That was kind of cute.

"I'm surprised y'all need something like this. It's real nice, but I'd have expected you'd just fly up in the air on your own and shoot people with lightning." Her face twisted into concentration as she flailed about, targeting imaginary enemies. "Zap! Zap!
"Za-" Oh wait, it wouldn't be a good idea to smite Her. She recovered in a second, trying to be all business again. "So what do you need?"

"How good are you with a mop?"

Because seriously: it's not exactly motivating, having old blood from a battle that you didn't even get to fight in all over your airstrip.

"Um..." She compromised with all her ideas by bowing her head, and, after a quick "thank you!" headed off to supplies. She'd try to take care of her own deck later.

Doing that sort of thing brought her back a few years, when she was on an airship with her father. She wouldn't admit it to anyone, but it's the reason why she was perfectly all right with menial tasks.
