The tunnel Toph had dug for them had served its purpose well; Alex and his nine crew members had made it safely into the cellars of Parliament Buildings, presumably undetected. The three teams were now scattered, each bearing their payloads, to different parts of the buildings. The tunnel sat waiting for their return.
