Stir was still trying to get use to being on a ship. Though she use to see them all the time, she'd never actually been on one. It was taking some getting use to, but she found she was enjoying it. Not so much the wild party, though. She wasn't much of a part person, but she was there.

Standing near by, yet still not a part of the crowd, Stir was leaning on the railing. She was more interested in the colors of the sky than the alcohol. Though it was interesting seeing her fellow crew members for the first time, albeit drunk.

When Riku walked off, Jing wondered briefly if he had said something wrong. Perhaps he was reading too much into it. Instead, he perused the rest of the party with a mildly amused expression on his face. He caught sight of a young woman with long silvery hair, standing by herself. Well, that wouldn't do.

Jing picked up another glass of wine and strode over to the woman, offering the glass. "Parties are usually meant for socializing, wouldn't you say?"

Stir glanced up at the sound of Jing's voice, looking mild surprised she had been approached. But quickly her face fell into a more neutral expression and she straightened from her lean on the railing. She seemed a little skeptical as she glanced from him to the wine. Eventually, however, she took the offered glass and turned her eyes back to the sky.

"I'm not really a partying type of person."

"I couldn't tell," Jing joked with a smile. He followed her line of vision and, not seeing anything but the sky, smiled in a knowing sort of way. "What are you thinking about? Normally when I think, I look at the sky. Watch it change." He took a slow sip from his own glass.

"This is good, by the way."

Stir didn't seem as amused by his jokes as Jing himself. She didn't even look at him again, but kept her gaze solely on the sky.

"I'm not really thinking of anything in particular," She admitted. "I've just... never seen the sky so close before."

She glanced at her own glass when he mentioned it's taste. Lifting the glass lightly to her lips, Stir took a careful sip. It was rather good.

"Mm," he nodded appreciatively. "It's easy to forget it's there when choked by buildings, isn't it?" Jing stretched and tilted his head back, breathing in the night air. He was starting to feel a little warm.

"Probably one of my favorite things about airships is how free the sky is--when you're up in the rigging and everything is yours to claim. It's an exciting feeling."

"Right..." Stir agreed quietly. "Or sometimes you know it's there, you just forget to look."

Stir paused at his last words, seeming to drink them in as she did the wine in her glass. A small smile touched her lips. It was an odd way of putting it, anyway. But this was a ship for thieves, she had noticed. Turning her eyes to him at last, Stir realized she didn't even know who she was talking to.

"My name is Stir. You are...?"

[Agh, sorry for fail. -_-;]

"You can call me Jing. Everyone does," the youth said with a smile. "I'm curious though, what brought you here?"

Always one to get right to the point, apparently. "I mean, most everyone has a reason, right? I don't think yours is simply to look at the sky. You can do that from any tall building. Or just ride on a lot of airships." He smiled another one of his charming smiles, "Why here?"
