"I was ready an hour ago!" He shouted back at Pip, the grin very, very broad on his face. It was nice to have Pip back, too for the time being. Nice of the captain to stick them in the same group.
The blew hash against his face, the storm was getting closer, he felt his fingers tingle a little with anticipation.

They were approaching the storm, thunderclouds beginning to roll closer and closer as lightning - their target - flashed accompanied by the howling of winds and the roar of thunder. Pip adjusted his rubber attire, making sure they were firm before nodding at the other two and shouting aloud. "Alright mates, 'ere we go!"
It was harvesting time.
[OOC: Posting order is a go! Pip > Greed > Dimo, with interruptions from NPC posts in-between from time to time.]

Looking up at the sky, Greed readied himself for the incoming storm.

The scents around him were the most exciting he'd smelled in some time. It was exhilerating to be able to be up in the storm, not just watching it, like he had in years past at Castle Heterodyne. He could almost feel the electricity in the air, and it just made him that much happier. Finally, something good and dangerous!

But of course, a little warning wasn't enough to make Pip shun off. He had faced much wor---okay so maybe there weren't a lot of things worse than getting turned into barbecued rappig thanks to Mother Nature, but hey. It was still dangerous.
The mercenary readied himself as the lightning struck around, ready to do his job when the time came.

Suddenly a bolt shot down from above to the center of the deck, aiming right for the rod stationed on the deck. It struck with a crack, and the rod began to rattle on its bolts. Had it really been secured properly?

Greed stepped back as the bolt died down. He heard it start to rattle and his eyes went straight to the bolts. "Shit," He said loud enough for the others to hear.
"I think it's loose!"

The rattling of the rod immediately drew his attention. It could get bad fast, if someone didn't attend to it. Fortunately, he had Jager strength and endurance on his side. Spreading his legs apart into a wider stance, Dimo grabbed onto the lightning rod and pulled down as firmly as he could. "I can hold it, but ve vants to get dot bolted back down! I iz strong enough to keep it in place, but I schtill izn't lightning-proof." He grinned as rain pelted him in the face. "Not dot I knows of, anyvays. Mebbe ve finds out," he pondered gleefully.

"Merde," swore the brunette under his breath, wanting to speak first but was cut off my Dimo who did both something stupid - and something brave together. Not one to waste time (he could kick Dimo later after all of this - the rod was more important for now) Pip nodded quickly and swiftly knelt down to the rod, glancing around for a bit before cursing and shouting out to Greed. "'reed! Get me a screwdriver or somethin'!"

"Hurry up vith de tools, zomevun! Oddervise, ve's gonna zee how Jager flesh smells vhen it burns!"

Ah, by the phones. Greed leaped over to it and dug around for the right sized screw driver. Finding one or two that might have matched he ran back over to their group.
Bending down Greed started working on getting the screws back in. "Goin' as fast as I can!"

What he didn't notice though, was that with the actions he were doing combined with the storm and winds, the knot for his eyepatch was slowly coming loose...

"Going all right?" he asked brusquely. The sooner that they got it completely secured again, the sooner that he could go back to enjoying the storm.

"Pip, hurry up!" Greed might have sounded a little concerned. He was eying the sky as if trying to predict the next strike. From the severity of how the storm looked, they probably didn't have a whole lot of time.
